Arthritis refers to those conditions, which causes damage or injures to the joints of a person suffering from it. It is a disease or disorder, which is characterized by loss of movements and pain in the joints. It usually develops in people who are above the age of sixty-five years.

Arthritis is of different types and the causes of each type of arthritis are different. There are more than hundred types of arthritis and this is a chronic disorder. In other words, arthritis is a never-ending disorder, which will last for the entire life of the patient.

Even though this disorder usually strikes those who are above sixty-five years of age, children as well as young adults may also develop this disorder. It can influence any of the joints in the body and you will never know when and from where the pain will start.

Arthritis is usually accompanied by exhaustion and weakness. It is a condition, which causes inflammation of joints where the joints becomes inflexible, reddish in color and they swell up. Generally, the patients will discover uneasiness in the morning than in any other time of the day.

CAUSES

This disorder or disease can be caused by any of the factors. Some of the factors are: - Age of a person: It usually develops in people who are over the age of 65 years due to the breakdown of bones with the passing of time. However, person of other ages can also develop this disease. - Heredity: If any one in your family has this problem then there are chances that you will also suffer from arthritis. - Damage to joints: If you have suffered from an injury, which has affected your joints, then you may be at risk of getting arthritis. The most common people who suffer from this disorder are footballers or soccer players as they are at risk of injuring their joints all the time.
